Qualifications and Requirements
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Candidates with GCE Advanced Level (A/L) and relevant professional experience may also apply for the Cashier position.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cash management procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Relevant work experience in accounting, finance, banking, or cash handling will be an added advantage.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply for the Cashier position.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
- Process, reconcile, and record financial transactions.
- Receive and process cash deposits, withdrawals, and other member transactions.
- Prepare and assist in the compilation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain daily cash balances and transaction records.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the efficient day-to-day operations of the institution.
