JOB VACANCY – DAILY COLLECTOR

Legacy Investment Cooperative Credit Union (LICCU), a dynamic and fast-growing member-owned financial institution committed to providing accessible, transparent, and impactful financial solutions, is seeking to recruit a qualified, trustworthy, and results-oriented Daily Collector to join its team.

📍 Location: Great Soppo, Buea
📍 Employment Type: Full-Time

 

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum qualification: GCE Advanced Level (A/L), preferably in Commercial, Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- At least one (1) year of experience as a Daily Collector or in a similar field collection role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily collection targets.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Buea and its surrounding areas will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect daily savings and other payments from members and clients.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate collection records.
- Ensure timely remittance of collected funds.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members and clients.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and savings commitments.
- Prepare daily collection reports and submit them to management.
- Ensure compliance with LICCU's operational and financial procedures.
